Soon, bloggers Must Give Full Disclosure
Bad News fellow bloggers the Federal Trade Commissions rules towards advertisers and reviewers and endorsers are going to have to change. The F.T.C said they would be putting on new regulations on bloggers who review products and are giving these products good reviews because they are getting paid to do so. The F.T.C is trying to regulate this by saying you have to let your readers know that your being paid by advertisers to say this.For bloggers that do this is means some of that disposable income might just be gone.Would people actually read your blog if they knew it was biased because you were getting paid to write that. I mean I know I wouldnt i would rather want to read somethinf that someone wrote about a product they have used and had a real experience with rather than a person who was getting paid to say it was great.http://www.nytimes.com/2009/10/06/business/media/06adco.html

I think that takes a little bit of the fun out of blogging. It shouldn't matter if I'm getting paid to write a blog, it's my personal blog if a certain company chooses to pay me then that should be between us. On the other hand someone being payed is more likely to give a bogus blog review than someone who isn't being paid.
